Introduction to valve PR2 test
It is the design verification of the product, which is to verify the performance of the valve and wellhead device in high and low
temperature environment. The product needs to be verified at normal temperature, high temperature and low temperature,
and the test cycle is long. API 6A products need to understand the main technical parameters involved in the valve:
nominal diameter, pressure level, temperature level, material level, PSL-product manufacturing level, PR-product performance level,
mechanical properties, impact properties, hardness requirements, tolerances and design characteristics.
Test procedure:
1) 160 cycles of dynamic switching with pressure at room temperature;
2) The valve dynamic pressure switch cycle test 20 times at the highest temperature;
3) Cycle test with pressure switch at the lowest temperature for 20 times;
4) The temperature cycle of the valve body and the pressure holding test of high and low pressure at each stage
5) Torque test of valve in each test process;
In order to ensure product quality, it is necessary to meet the requirements of the above PR2 level product performance level,
and test the various performance indicators of the product during the product organization and production process.
After passing the witness, you can obtain the report issued by the laboratory and the product recognition certificate issued by
the classification society.
