The fire test of a valve verifies whether the valve can maintain a certain sealing performance and operability after being exposed to high-temperature burning for a specified period. The common standards include API 607 (quarter-turn valves), API 6FA (valves for petroleum and natural gas industry) and ISO 10497 (fire type-testing requirements).
During the test, the valve is placed in a fire test bench and burned at high temperature, while the internal and external leakage of the valve is measured. After the test, the valve still needs to pass a low-pressure and high-pressure sealing check to confirm its fire-safe performance.
For fire test certification, samples are usually required. Contact: +86-18731031297 (WeChat available).
