Cryogenic Testing of Valves: GB/T 24925, BS 6364, ISO 28921

Valves used in low-temperature and ultra-low-temperature service (such as LNG and cryogenic engineering) need to undergo cryogenic testing to verify their sealing performance and operability at low temperature.

Common standards include GB/T 24925, BS 6364, ISO 28921 and MESC SPE 77-200. During the test, the valve is cooled to the specified temperature and its low-temperature sealing performance is measured.
